RAIL

Trains depart from Aberdeen for Glasgow and Edinburgh around every half hour during the day and London Kings Cross is just over 7 hours away along the East Coast Route.

Aberdeen is also the starting point for the longest scheduled rail journey in the UK - to Penzance, and there are frequent services to Inverness and Wick.
