A number of short courses have been made available, free of charge, through the Association of Film and Television Practitioners in Scotland. These courses are aimed at skilling up or re-visiting skills already gained.

These short courses include;

• RiskManagement and Assessment for Film and TV Freelancers

• 17th Edition forLighting Technician and Electricians: Requirements for Electrical Installations BS 7671 : 2008 (IEE WiringRegulations 17th Edition)

• Introduction to File Based Cameras

• Data Imaging TechniciansTraining for RED Cameras

• Data Imaging Technicians Training

• Hair Dressing and Styling SkillsDevelopment – for Make-up & Hair Practitioners

• Vectorworks – introduction to Computer Aided Design using theVectorworks software programme.

• Visual Effects Workshop
